From time to time we see the odd “spotted in my street” post here. I live in an area where I often see rather cool cars, so I was wondering.. should I start taking pictures of them and share them with you guys?

Just this month there’s been five different Tesla Model S, a 997 GT3, a Ford Escort Cosworth, a fifth gen Ford Mustang (quite rare in Norway), a Corvette C4, 2 Corvette C5’s, a couple of different generations of M3’s and M5’s, an Audi R8 in winter camo and so on parked outside my flat. There’s also a VW Type 34 that often parks in my street, and there’s of course all the cars the American guys on Oppo hardly ever see/have seen.

My thought is that I can’t be bothered, since you can see all these cars on the interweb, but if you guys would like me to take some pictures I’ll do so.

Have a Type 34 for your troubles..

OK. I’ll start taking pictures then. Collect them all in one post twice a month or once a month perhaps? Post the same day if it’s something really special?

Don’t bother with the Teslas (if you ask me), but the other stuff seems interesting enough. In general posting things that are kind of unusual or out of it’s comfort zone are interesting!

yes, take pictures. If we think thye are crap we will simply move on. But Oppo is slow sometimes, more (car) content is always welcome.

I understand. So many of my first friends on Jalopnik had a giant exodus to Hooniverse. I followed them and commented for years (until this year when their old format broke). They aren’t fans either.
